As the Phillips family business grew, so did their need forfurther accommodation and this new addition to Old Hall House was built during the reign of Queen Anne. Throughout the building the original oak panelling and fireplaces have been preserved retaining the warm, ‘lived in' atmosphere that is prevalent through the complex. The 18 th  century staircase threads its way through all floors, complemented by window seats with views across the adjoining countryside to Jubilee Wood and the River Tean.
