This dignified building occupies what is arguably the most prominent position of all the Tean Mills buildings as it sits squarely facing the main road running through the village. Having served the local community as a place of work for most of the past 200 years, The Finishing Mill in this new millenium has turned its attention to providing elegant homes in peaceful surroundings for todays professionals. In keeping with the other Tean Mill buildings the Finishing Mill has retained the large attractive windows, still with the original fittings. Light floods the generously proportioned rooms, glancing across the warm red brick of the window surrounds, enhancing the space within. A world away from the rush of city life, or the rumble and thump of its industrial history, these fine apartments rise gracefully above the bustle of the village, awaiting their transition from family run factory to home. |

Tucked in between The Finishing Mill and Tean Old Hall, The Loom House/Front Range (?) has a rather more domestic feel, standing as it does alongside the taller Finishing Mill. The three storey building still provides perfect accommodation for today's modern lifestyle.
>From the upper floors the eye travels over the rooftops and chimneys of the old houses and shops of the village, across the open fields to the hills beyond where sheep still graze...a scene that has probably altered little in the intervening years since the Phillips brothers first stood on this land and planned their revolutionary concept. As with the other residences in the Tean Hall Mills complex, each apartment has been cleverly crafted out of the generous interiors of the Mill making maximum use of the light and space these buildings provide without compromising the integrity of the building. The contemporary interior design has carefully woven the fabric of period details into a modern setting to provide unobtrusive reminders of the buildings industrial past. |

Linking the larger Cross Mill and Warehouse to the Loom House, the smaller Boiler House is a fine example of how different the buildings in this complex can be yet still retain a common theme - that of space and room to move. Each apartment retains its individuality with the careful incorporation of original period features that blend seamlessly with sleek contemporary interiors. |

This impressive building sits at the end of the Cross Mill and looks across the village and surrounding hills and fields. As with the Cross Mill, beautiful vaulted ceilings grace these roomy apartments creating wonderful space that although designed almost 200 years ago perfectly complement the modern uncluttered interiors. The Warehouse holds a surprise not found in the other buildings in the complex - warm red brick has been so skilfully laid that it flows in curves around two spiral staircases, reminiscent of much earlier times, that climb the full height of this building. |

Overlooking a cool and shady courtyard lies The Stove House, forming a link between the Finishing Mill and the Warehouse. Spanning a wide archway that reflects the shape of the windows that are such a stunnning feature of this complex, these smart apartments look towards the surrounding hills and trees and yet are just a short walk from nearby shops. |
